WACOL GirlsWill team will embark on both offline and online activities which includes:
1. Online sensitisation campaign to spotlight the emerging issues that girls face in Nigeria.
The team will share human interest stories that depict leadership, courage, determination and impact to inspire other girls.
This action will be championed by WACOL Girls Will volunteers on different social media platforms.
2. Outreach to two (2) schools in rural areas in the South East.
The outreach discussion will focus on digital space inclusion.
The team will sensitise the girls on digital skills and share opportunities(training/internships)in the tech space for interested girls to access, guiding them on the relevant application process.
This outreach supports the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development Goals and will ensure that no girl is left behind, amplifying commitments to promote an inclusive digital and STEM space.
