WACOL stands for Women’s Aid Collective.
Our policies and actions are designed primarily to give vioce to women and girls in Nigeria.
We are also challenging various cultural norms that hinder equal opportunities for women and Girls through various legislative advocacies. One of such is the Violence Against Persons Prohibitions(VAPP) Bill, which is readily before the Enugu State House of Assembly for consideration and passage.
On the occasion of the International Women Day 2019, our organization as usual assures of even stroger committment to fight all forms of Violence Against Women including:
-Girl Child/Widowhood Disinheritance
-Domestic Violence
– Female Genital Mitigation
-Rape etc
