Implementation challenges included security concerns, scheduling conflicts, language barriers, and cultural resistance. These were addressed through adaptive strategies such as rescheduling activities, translating materials into local languages, engaging trusted community leaders, and promoting inclusive communication. Efforts were also made to encourage male participation and address gender norms.
Institutional Strengthening
The organization expanded its capacity by recruiting additional staff across finance, communications, legal, and technical roles. This has improved coordination, accountability, and overall program delivery.
Outcomes and Impact
The project has led to increased awareness of gender equality and GBV, with participants demonstrating greater confidence in discussing and addressing these issues. It has also strengthened women’s leadership, enabling them to take on more active roles in advocacy, decision-making, and community mobilization.
